AUDITIONS FOR
HYRONOMOUS A FROG

Director Deb Smith needs the following cast of characters:

Speaking Roles:
Hyronomous:
a lonely, innocent and irrepressible frog

Gloria, the Good Witch:
a no nonsense, gruff, atypical good witch

Aunt Queen Bea:
Queen of Spamelot. An older woman who marches to a drummer no one else has met

Princess Gladiola:
Queen Bea's niece. A bratty, privileged young woman

Delphinium:
Gladiola's handmaiden. A kind, long suffering young servant

Sir Lancelot Pancelot:
A pompous, self-impressed and rather stupid knight betrothed to Gladiola

Arthur the Page:
A dignified and loyal page to Pancelot who plays along with the pomp and circumstance, but knows better

Non-speaking Roles:
3 small frogs
Assistant to the Good Witch
2 bunnies
1 house cat
a cook
a maid
a server
small chorus (must be able to sing)

All workshops are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Acting I (ages 8-12) Saturday, June 1
Acting II (ages 8-12) Saturday, June 8
Acting I (ages 13-18) Saturday, June 15
Acting II (ages 13-18) Saturday, June 22

If you have ever wanted to be on stage, or have a curiosity about theatre, this workshop is for you. We teach the fundamentals of acting: pantomime, improvisation, voice, movement, character study, scene/monologue work, and auditioning.
